Try on when you are dry and in a cool place. Avoid trying on when you are sweaty or wet as this increases friction and makes achieving a perfect fit much harder.
Use thin gloves and pull neoprene up slowly between your finger pads. Pull material up a few cm at a time, never rush, it's not a race. Never use your fingernails. High performance neoprene can be easily damaged through incorrect use.
Tip: Jump in the water and make any final adjustment and tighten draw string for a perfect fit

I was looking for a pair of performance neoprene jammers to keep me warm in the winter and provide a little bouyancy. I came across these Volare V1's and have been TOTALLY pumped about their performance. Not only is the buoyancy awesome and natural, they fit great, look great, and perform great! From my first swim, I felt supported, yet could diaphragm breath. The buoyancy is very natural and helps me keep my hips high without feeling awkward or like I'm floating. When I keep my core tight and clinch my butt cheeks, these shorts just help support my natural line of head, hips, heels, which at 6'3" (190.5 cms) tall and 165 lbs (76 kgs), is not easy to do. My long, skinny legs naturally want to sink. These shorts help overcome that. Furthermore, the customer support has been exemplary, particularly Anthonly, who has answered my questions from shopping to swimming! Buy these buoyancy shorts if you're looking for a quality product with quality customer support. (BTW, I wear a size small in these shorts.)

Brad sorry to hear, as per my email this is our orginal V1 short and after 5 years its been replaced by the Pro Sheild neoprene short. The metal eyelets have been removed on the new shorts and are now feature reinforced stitching. They also are more bouyant and higher in the waist, all of these changes have been based on customers feedback. I swim in ocean in Melbourne 3 times a week & have found these shorts super comfortable to swim in. Buy a pair.

Buyancy support

The shorts provide much needed support to someone who has difficulty with leg kicking. On first use I improved my average swim time by about 5%.
I am at the upper end of size range, so decided to buy L rather XL which was a tight fit but fine. However, as I am tall the waist measurement is a fit but i would prefer a slightly longer length.

I purchased this product on line circa 11th December 2023. I was excited and followed all steps. Imagine my dismay when the waist tie snapped. A number of written contact attempts failed. Then 30 days expired rather quickly. Never have I been more disappointed with the customer service with any product ever. This is on record and happy to provide more. Currently sitting collecting dust. Now looking for an alternative product as I have a disability.
